Pictured below are the old 1991-1997 centerbrand (top) and new 1998 centerbrand (bottom).
On the new centerbrand the "1" in "125" is over the "i" in "Louisville."
The ® symbol on the new centerbrand is more perpendicular to the "r" in "Slugger."
Finally, the font of the words "Loiusville Slugger" in the new centerbrand is broader than
the previous font causing the words to be more spread out in the new centerbrand.
1999
The 1999 Lousville Slugger has all the same Centerbrand and Barrel markings as the
1998, LVS has merely added the Major League Baseball symbol to the space between
the Centerbrand and the Barrel. (Thereby making it a lot tougher for those who like
to get their game used bats autographed!!)
