Kissimee Stix Bat Labeling

1993-Mid 1994

CENTERBRAND: The first major league approved bats bore a label similar to that of Louisville Slugger in that it was oval in shape and burnt into the wood. The centerbrand bore the company's name "KISSIMMEE" above "STICK" with the "S" in "STICK" shared with the second "S" in "KISSIMMEE." The words "Kissimmee, Florida" were found along the upper arc of the oval. "USA" is found directly below "STICKS."

BARREL: The barrel labeling was in three levels with the top level setting forth the model number, the middle level bearing the player's name in block lettering, and the bottom level bearing the team name.

KNOB: At times the player's uniform number was burnt into the knob.

STRIPES: Sometime in 1993 the company added stripes to the bat between the knob and the centerbrand with the stripe closest to the knob being approximately 1/4 inch thich and the stripe closer to the centerbrand is about 1/8 of an inch. The stripes were made of a plastic tape.

Mid 1994-Mid 1995

CENTERBRAND: The company changed its labeling process and began screening the labels on their bats.

BARREL: The barrel labeling was also changed to screened on.

Mid 1995-1996

CENTERBRAND: The company radically changed the centerbrand logo. The word "KISSIMMEE" was in small type over a large "STIX" with a large circle around the "X" in "STIX." This marked a change in the company's name. Finally, in small type below the "STI" in "STIX" were the words "KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA."

Note on model numbers: where the style of bat mimics that of another company the numerals from the other company will be kept with KS placed at the front (ie: a LVS model C235 will become KS 235). Where the player designs the bat himself it is labeled by using the player's initials followed by the player's uniform number.
