CENTERBRAND: The initial Hoosier labeling was very unique, with the centerbrand consisting of
the outline of the state of Indiana sideways with the words "Hoosier Bat Co." in the upper left
of the state, a bat in three pieces crossing the middle of the state and the words "made in the
USA" across the bottom of the state.
BARREL: The barrel labeling was in three levels with the top level setting forth the word
"ORIGINAL" followed by the letters "HB" (for Hoosier Bats) and the model number, the middle
level bearing the words "THE DREAM," (derived from the movie the Field of Dreams), and the
bottom level bearing the player's name.
KNOB: the last digit of the bat length was stamped into the knob, with 1/2 added if
necessary.
1992
BARREL: The barrel labeling was changed slightly as "U.S. PAT. 4714251" was placed in small
type just below "THE DREAM" and a (R) symbol was added to the right of "THE DREAM."

1993-1994
CENTERBRAND: At the request of Major League Baseball, the company simplified the centerbrand
logo. The logo has word "HOOSIER" printed boldly with the "H" larger than the other letters.
the words "BAT CO." in smaller type are directly below the "R" in "HOOSIER." Finally, in
small type below the entire logo is "VALPARISO, IN - MADE IN U.S.A." The centerbrand and
barrel were also screened on at this point.
1995-1997
STRIPES: The company received Major League approval in 1994 and began adding stripes to their
bats around the same time. The Three stripes are of equal width and the same color and are
found to the left of the centerbrand.

Note on model numbers: where the style of bat mimics that of another company the numerals from the other company will be kept with HB placed at the front (ie: a LVS model C235 will become HB 235).
