Young Bat Company is a division of Young Enterprises and is based in Brevard, North Carolina.
The company was started by Chris Young, the head of Young Enterprises, as an offshoot of his
memorabelia collecting interest. Young Enterprises is a company involved in construction
and has interests in a saw mill, lumber yard and construction companies. The creation of
bats was a natural offshoot of Mr. Young's collecting and commercial interests.
The Young Bat Company began making bats in 1992 and many of the Atlanta Braves have used
Young Bats. Jeff Frye of the Red Sox is also a patron of Young Bats. The company is located
